WWETV & JaneFinch.com On CBC "Our Toronto" This Weekend

On September 13th the founder of WorldWide Entertainment TV Kevin Douglas was interviewed by the CNN and BBC of Canada called CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) along with the founder of JaneFinch.com Paul Nguyen about the impact of hip hop in the city of Toronto and the region of Jane and Finch. The program will air this weekend for the Our Toronto segment on CBC. The webmaster and acclaimed Director Paul explained to the reporter how his website has provided the troubled area in Canada an outlet for positive stories and an unfiltered view for outsiders to understand the citizens and entertainers that come out of this talented area of Toronto. CBC and Our Toronto program recorded 40 plus minutes of footage of the area and interviewing artist Blacus Ninjah, WWETV, and JaneFinch.com.

Paul Nguyen recently a high accolade by the Mayor of Toronto John Tory for his volunteer work and presenting a positive image for Jane and Finch. Kevin Douglas was on sight for the accomplishment and was also pictured with the Mayor for helping Jane-Finch.com in attaining heights never before thought of for citizens of the area.

Paul Nguyen started the popular website that has received multitudes of media coverage over the years and told Our Toronto how he was a pioneer in social media for Canada by being facebook and twitter and youtube before they became a big thing post 2006.

Kevin Douglas spoke with the news organization about the international movement that has become known as WorldWide Entertainment TV. He let the reporter Marivel Turac know that the region has productive entertainment that has hit the international stage as Pressa who is currently touring with Drake and in the past artists such as Sticky Green and Benny Blacc as The Smugglaz being in a movie soundtrack for the MTV and Paramount Vantage Film "How She Move" with the region's anthem "Jane and Finchin".

Douglas also showed how that part of the city was known worldwide by having some of the biggest artists in the world peruse its habitat such as reggae / dancehall superstar Beenie Man, hip hop legends Wu-Tang Clan, and even DMX.

You can catch this show this weekend on CBC OUR TORONTO on CBC Television each Saturday at noon and Sundays and Mondays at 11 a.m. Along with high-profile guests discussing the week's hot topics, the program will also regularly feature what's happening in music, movies and books, as well as the latest in health and consumer news.

For our American audience we will have a special behind the scenes segment on this week's WorldWide Entertainment TV television program that will air this Saturday night at 7:30pm and Replay at 12:00am on Apple TV and Roku via Nu Television Network.
