Jay Z gets ridiculed sometimes for not talking about topics which don't just include money and drug dealing in the past, but with Jay Z maturing as a husband and father it seems his aim on this latest 4:44 album was to give people a message.

In the visuals for "The Story Of O.J." he brilliantly uses an old school animation of how blacks were portrayed on screen (Sambo) with a character called "Jaybo". The person of interest in the song title is only referred to once in terms of his infamous statement of "I'm not black. I'm O.J." to lay the foundation of the rift among black people with race within their own race. Then Jay Z breaks down how blacks should come together with financial empowerment.
