In preparation for this year’s BET Awards, the network hosted its huge BET Experience Fan Fest at L.A. Live. The weekend’s exclusive events included celebrity Genius Talks from industry leaders, performances from chart-topping artists, fan giveaways and more. WWETV’s Los Angeles correspondent, Miaira Jennings, was on location to cover some of the event’s biggest moments on Saturday, June 24th.

Some major acts shut down the main stage to perform some of their biggest hits and fan favorites, including Young M.A with Ooouuu, Cardi B. with Foreva, Kyle with I Spy and Goldlink with Crew, just to name a few. The place was packed with fans who sang along with their favorite artists, and there was even a surprise on stage appearance from hip hop mogul DJ Khaled during Kyle’s set! #MajorKeyAlert

The energy from the crowd was unreal.

In addition, a few of the hottest up-and-coming artists and groups took the stage at Coca-Cola’s Music Studio, including Epic Records’ rising girl group Billion Dollar Baby, Zay Hilfigerrr with his dance hit Juju on That Beat and more. Of course, Coca-Cola couldn’t let the fans go home empty handed. Everyone had the chance to receive their very own personalized Coca-Cola can with their name on it–a gift that seemed to be one of the day’s hottest commodities.
