WHERE: Legacy Garden Park 5616 Memorial Drive Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083 CONTACT: 678 739 6674 DATES OF EVENTS: June 24th, July 8th and July 15th 2017 TELEVISION CREWS AS WELL AS RADIO STATIONS ARE INVITED TO DO LIVE COVERAGE Free Performing Arts Classes for Young People will be offered by celebrity artists and instructors on Saturday, June 24th (Dance), Saturday, July 8th (Music) and Saturday, July 15th (Drama, Film and Art) in the scenic Legacy Garden Park formerly the Tupac Shakur Arts Estate. The Estate is now under the auspices of new owner James Barnett who has promised to maintain the Estate which has Tupac’s ashes as a performing arts, film, music, TV and art historic venue. The city wide free arts for children project is the brain storm of writer/producer Aduke Aremu who has been the guru of children’s theatre in New York as well as the author of 10 plays, 3 children books, 2 books of poetry and 1 nonfiction. Aduke Aremu has joined forces with powerful entertainment companies in the ATL to ensure that our young people have exposure and training in the arts this summer. Atlanta is now the 2nd largest producer of TV and film in the United States and the industry is looking for young talented kids ages 5 and up. Ra Ra Entertainment, Royalty Media LLC, Janice Entertainment and the Legacy Garden Park Corporation has partnered with Aduke Aremu Productions this summer to make a child’s arts dream a reality.

Free Dance Boot Camp with Celebrity Dancer/Choreographer Obediah Wright JUNE 24th 2017 | 7:30AM - 12PM Obediah Wright hails from New York City and believes in “Finding our next Hollywood and TV young talents and freeing our young folks creative spirit. This renowned dancer and choreographer believes the creative arts are gifts that we must pass forward to the next generation. Obediah Wright is a graduate of the world-renowned Julliard School of Performing Arts. He is the founder of Brooklyn’s very large dance company called Balance Dance which trains young people 4 to 25 years old. Obediah spent 10 years in Tokyo, Japan and returned to the USA to choreograph the Film “Black Nativity” with actress Angela Bassett and Director Otis Sallid. He is the choreographer of the upcoming TV series “Goose”. Free Music Boot Camp Classes July 8th 2017 7:30am - 12pm The music free arts program includes John Fitzgerald McGill who is an international vocalist, composer and musician who has work with many renowned producers including Tyler Perry. Gervin Fireman McDaniel will be training our kids with his Legacy School of Music. Instrumental music as well as vocal will be on the agenda. Darryl Peek the host of In The Mix Radio on 1570AM radio will be another celebrity instructor. Darryl is also a composer and vocalist for the Atlanta African American Philharmonic Orchestra. Free Drama & Art Boot Camp Classes July 15th 7:30AM - 12pm Aduke Aremu is an international renowned stage director, producer and playwright of 10 produced plays off Broadway and Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. Author of upcoming TV series “Goose” and the awards winning play “The Liberation of Mother Goose”, “Babylon the Musical” and “Ju Ju Man” Janice Adams Barnett, CEO of Janice Entertainment, is a movie and television producer, international actress, singer and music producer. Janice is Queen of Beach Music and was inducted into the Beach Music Hall of Fame. She has worked as a WB producer and industry colleagues such as Richard Prior, Scoey Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Richard Pryor and Redd Fox as a very young entertainer. She was one of the main acts at Disney World and Disney Land for over 15 years. Coach Wes Lee is a musical actor and has been in the TV and Film Industry for many years: “Fatal Attraction” “Saints and Sinners”, “Dairy of a Mad Black Woman” “Greenleaf” and Music Group “Sounds of Blackness” Andre Minkins is a National Professor of the Dramatic Arts who hails from North Carolina, Professor Minkins travels throughout the United States teaching the dramatic arts. Sheila & Carl Millender are founders and owners of Starmaxx Films which have filmed numerous projects in Atlanta and the United States. Michael Crowne is a graphic Artist & Designer who creates everything from Logos to Murals, Websites to Art Displays for companies in Atlanta and across the country. As a millennium artist, his goal is to enhance the creative talents of other young people. - @michaelcrowne Lamont “Tut The Artist” Torres is a humanitarian who is an Atlanta native that is focused on bringing together youth and generating programs to build legacy foundations.
