(WWETV OLD SCHOOL) Stevie Wonder turns 67 years old today, so WWETV looks back on this iconic musical figure at the start of his adult music career. We take you to the start of the decade when Motown was at its peak along with being on the heels of the British Music Invasion. Little Stevie no more he gets on television to speak with a United Kingdom reporter in 1970 about his first produced album. He talks about not wanting to boxed or labeled as just a soul singer. Wonder gives praise to the legends of the day in The Jacksons, Temptations, and The Beatles.
In this 1977 interview he gives insight into how a man with no sight had such a vision to create timeless music. His landmark album Keys Of Life is the eighteenth album released on September 28, 1976, by Motown Records. It was the culmination of his "classic period" albums.
