Tupac Shakur in recent weeks has been in the media concerning items that he either owned or rode in such as the car which he died in 1996 being auctioned off. It now seems the estate of Afeni Shakur has had enough and are suing for Tupac Shakur's possessions.

In the video above, BET Breaks does commentary on the situation.

Moments in Time, is the auction house that recently offered Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls’ “death cars” for sale as well as the 1997 GMC Suburban Biggie was shot, for the hefty sum of $1.5 million each.

Afeni Shakur, whom the legendary rapper immortalized in his song “Dear Mama,” passed away last year at the age of 69. During her lifetime she executive produced the Oscar-nominated documentary Tupac: Resurrection and vehemently defended Shakur’s rights from being exploited, filing numerous lawsuits over the years. TMZ first broke the news that the estate is taking legal action against Moments In Time for unauthorized sale of the deceased rapper’s personal effects, including the rapper’s passport, driver’s license, clothing, jewelry, as well as handwritten lyrics, scripts, and notebooks. The Afeni Shakur estate has previously tried to block Moments in Time from selling a handwritten lyric sheet to a song from the Better Dayz track, “Catchin’ Feelings,” for $38,500. The lyric sheet itself is said to have been obtained by an ex-employee at a recording studio.
