(WWETV ATLANTA) Today marks a monumental day in the history of WWETV as we are now officially the media outlet for the Tupac Shakur Center For The Arts in Atlanta. The announcement was made today by our WWETV ATLANTA Correspondent Ms. Goldi aka Yonkers 1st Lady.
In her statement Ms. Goldi who has her own radio show in the city of Atlanta proclaimed:

Afeni Shakur launched the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation in the Atlanta area. The Center was inspired by how her son's talent in rapping and acting was rooted in the Baltimore School for the Arts.
Over the years at the camp, Jasmine Guy taught acting; Junella Segura Cooper, who has worked with Mary J. Blige and Usher taught dance; Dina LaPolt, Shakur's attorney for 12 years, explained what aspiring artists should know about copyright and intellectual property laws.
On June 11, 2005, the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts opened as the foundation's proper headquarters in Stone Mountain, Georgia, down the street from the six-bedroom home Tupac bought for his mother.
As Tupac's catalogue of unreleased music decreased, the foundation began facing financial struggles. Despite these struggles, Afeni Shakur resisted selling the center and never officially announced the center's closure. Eventually, the property was sold in August 2015.
