(WWETV) Kanye West has broken his silence on President Elect Donald Trump by stating he likes some of his campaign ideals. He did not vote, but says if he did it would have gone to Donald Trump. Kanye West recently stated on BBC Radio how he is legitimately running to become President of The United States in 2020. In 2015, West and his wife Kim Kardashian met with Hillary Clinton, with whom they posed for a selfie and who many assumed the rapper and democrat would vote for. I got my selfie!!! Kanye West let it be known that his opinion to vote for Donald Trump doesn't negate his social views. “[Voting for Trump] don’t mean that I don’t think that black lives matter, that don’t mean I don’t believe in women’s rights, that don’t mean that I don’t believe in gay marriage,” he explained, telling his fans that they should “stop focusing on racism” because “we’re a racist f—ing country, period.”
