Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me Trailer About Michel'le

Lifetime's Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me, the biopic about R&B singer Michel'le, Dr. Dre's former fiancée and mother of one of his sons. In the new teaser, Michel'le (played by Rhyon Nicole Brown of “Lincoln Heights” fame) meets N.W.A. and gets signed to Ruthless Records, before the darker side of her relationship with Dre surfaces. Michel’le has claimed that Dre was regularly physically abusive to her during their relationship. Last year, following the release of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, Michel’le spoke outagainst the film, saying that “it ignores several of N.W.A.’s own harsh realities.” Following Dre’s public apology for his abusive past, Michel'le responded with, “I don’t really think it’s a sincere apology. I didn’t ask for a public apology and I think if he is going to apologize he should do it individually. To just group us like we are nothing and nobody—I just don’t think it’s sincere.... Treat us like we have names.”
