(WWETV) Coverage of Woodbine Mall's Reggae Love Festival continues with the live performance of Latifa 'Tifa' Brown. The dancehall star says "No other female dancehall artiste has ever been on a billboard before me, and being a female artiste among an elite group of ambassadors for Digicel is an absolute honour."

She did an extensive tour of Europe with her label Ward 21 in 2008 where she became the first female reggae/dancehall artiste to perform in the Czech Republic. In 2009, Tifa produced one of her best singles “Spell It Out” with Ward 21 which topped the charts for weeks and is now a well known song all throughout Jamaica. Singles such as “Tick It Like a Clock” on Stephen McGregor's 'Boasty' rhythm, “New Man” on the 'Mash Up' rhythm, produced by Christopher Birch, “Sick” produced by Equiknoxx Music, “Boasty Wid It” on the 'Style & Swagger' rhythm produced by Ballaz Production and “Why” showcase Tifa’s flexibility as a singer and DJ. In 2009 Tifa won five awards which included: the Most Improved Artiste at the E.M.E.'s (Excellence in Music & Entertainment Awards), best New Artiste at Stone Love, and Female DJ of the Year, Best Female Artiste and Young, Hot and Hype Female of the Year at The Youth View Awards. Her spiral to fame many say is only beginning. ‘I’ve had three surgeries. I spent most of my childhood in wheel chairs and crotches and in and out of hospitals and medical facilities in an attempt to make my legs straight. Following the third surgery the growth was stopped in my legs, because each time I grew the legs would grow right back out after being straightened’, Tifa explained.
