The four-year Frank Ocean drought is finally over. Thursday night, Frank’s website boysdontcry.co unexpectedly came to life with a mysterious black and white video accompanied by never-before-heard songs from the R&B singer. Social media immediately went into a frenzy over the surprise stream, and fans worldwide gathered around their computers to watch Frank construct a staircase to the sounds of his new songs. The whole thing was oddly intriguing and hard to take your eyes off of.

Shortly after the website stream ended, the entire project became available on Apple Music as a visual album entitled “Endless”. While most celebrated the arrival of brand new tunes from Frank Ocean, many were still left slightly disappointed that no traditional audio album was released. Well, the disappointment may not last long because it’s rumored that a full album could be surfacing sooner than we think.
A representative from Apple Music made a statement about the visual album, while also telling fans to “keep an eye out this weekend for more Frank.” Whether we’re in store for another mysteriously hypnotizing visual album or a full traditional album, it’s safe to say that fans will be on the lookout for more.
