Michie Mee On Being Toronto's Hip Hop OG

(WWETV) WorldWide Web Series continues with Toronto's OG of hip hop & reggae Michie Mee. The artist recently performed at the annual Urban Arts #CultureShock event in Toronto along with Cash Money Records artist J-Soul. Michie Mee is known along with Maestro Fresh Wes for originally putting Toronto urban music on the map during the late 80's and 90's. During a broadcast of HOT 97's Real Late with Peter Rosenberg Toronto Rapper Jazz Cartier gave mention to Michie Mee days after this last performance of the woman known as "The Queen of Urban Music" in Canada. WWETV Youtube Space Toronto Series Thursday Throwback this week is Michie Mee schooling the new generation about being the O.G. of Toronto hip hop and where it all began describing her roots.
