Martin Lawrence and WIll Smith rose to power in the 90's in Hollywood for their comedic roles on "Martin" and "Fresh Prince Of Bel Air". It was only a match made in heaven when the two heavyweights joined forces for "Bad Boys". A movie where the two play cop buddies.
There have been speculation over the years if the duo would make another chapter of their beloved franchise. It now seems the speculation is over as the movie is in the works now. The studio has changed the release date to Jan. 12, 2018, pushing the movie back again after previously announcing it’d release Feb. 7, 2017 and then June 2, 2017. It wasn’t until this past February that the Suicide Squad star confirmed he’d be involved in the remake, remarking on the first time he saw Martin in years.
“I saw Martin [Lawrence] a few weeks ago. I haven’t seen him for about two years. We just looked at each other. We hugged. In that moment, we knew we were making another Bad Boys. We’re definitely doing another one,” Will said in an interview with BBC Radio.
The film is set to be directed by Joe Carnahan, not Michael Bay, who directed the first two. It shouldn't harm the fantastic chemistry of the stars however as Smith and Lawrence match up very well together in their roles.

Will said, “We ride together, we die together — bad boys for life.” It seems it was in the plans all along.
