Atlanta Season 1 Official Trailer | Danny Glover Series

Atlanta is a new FX series brought to you by Danny Glover. During this trailer you see an image of a police officer smiling and pointing an imaginary gun at Atlanta rapper Paperboy as they pose together for a photo.

The thesis with ['Atlanta'] was kind of to show people how it felt to be black," said Donald Glover, the show's creator and star, in a recent press conference. "What was important to me was that this show was personal and had a specific take, because that’s all you can really ask for from a show nowadays, is having a specific point of view on something.”

The 10-episode first season of "Atlanta" is slated to premiere on September 6th.
