Friday Flashback - 2Pac & The Outlawz

This week's Friday Flashback is Tupac Shakur & The Outlawz (. Hussein Fatal, Napoleon, E.D.I. Mean, Kastro, Yaki Kadafi, and Storm ). The 1990's saw hip hop reach unprecedented heights when Tupac Shakur dropped All Eyez On Me. Deathrow Records was at its strongest and the potential was unlimited for the group "The Outlawz" out of New Jersey.

They were thrust into the biggest rap rivalry of all-time in the east vs west coast tension. In the video above, Tupac orchestrates a video that more mirrored a movie. The group obviously took a downturn after losing its leader and other members such as Fatal Hussein and Kadafi. As true soldiers of the mission they have marched on since then even doing music videos of songs they recorded when the iconic Tupac was alive. Who could ever forget the message in the song "Baby Don't Cry" which is also known as "Brenda's Got A Baby Part 2" by some.
