Chuck D Says Donald Trump is "Stupid"

The legendary Public Enemy MC Chuck D has given his thoughts on Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, on CNN by stating the man who could be the next President of The United States as "stupid" for saying that the "Black Lives Matter" movement has caused police shootings in some places. "I'm a musician so I can say things like 'he's stupid,'" says Chuck D who also gave the opinion of "And this convention is stupid for having him. How about that? He's out of his mind." Melania Trump's Republican convention speech has been criticized for plagiarizing portions of future first lady Michelle Obama's 2008 Democratic convention speech. For hip hop faithfuls, that is a big no no in the genre in terms of not coming up with your won material. Being an emcee, Chuck D made comment on the situation. "In hip hop ... the biggest travesty is to bite somebody's lyrics and rhymes," Chuck D said. "His wife just bit Michelle -- the first lady's speech and I think they planned it," he said. Trump and his team have shot that claim down by saying the speech did not have any plagiarized portions. Donald Trump himself has made no public comment on the situation.

Chuck D is an active figure when it comes to issues in politics as he attended the Republican National Convention as part of the Prophets of Rage music group, which features Rage Against the Machine members Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk, DJ Lord and rapper B-Real from Cypress Hill.
