Hey friends :) (please read, if you have a minute) Didn't want to do much talking in this one, wanted to let the music speak for itself. This is a crazy, scary time we're living in and we all know it. I know I've been very vocal on twitter & facebook, but I wanted to be very careful about the next thing I would post here on my youtube. I watched a video recently of Nina Simone speaking on how artists express in their medium (be it song or what have you) reflecting on what's going on in the world around them. It's easy for me to tweet or rant, but I want to use my channel to uplift and inspire you all as much as I can, and those words don't come so easy all the time. So right now (and how it usually is), I felt like the best way to say what I wanted to say was through song. I will probably continue to post covers of songs that help me say what I feel, so get ready...call me a hippie, but bear with me. I know we're all aware of the terrible state our world is in today, but (as the song states) I truly believe acting from a place of LOVE will be what helps this world get better. Spread love and speak love as much as you possibly can, and live with a little more compassion than usual. I love you all. I believe in all of us. WE--you and me-- WE ARE this world. It's not "society" it's US. Let's MAKE it better.
