Drake Ties King of Pop Michael Jackson on Billboard Charts

On Degrassi television show, Drake acted as Wheelchair Jimmy. During an episode during his days on the series he once acted as Michael Jackson as you will see in the clip above. The "King of Pop" broke many musical records and is one of the greatest entertainers the world has ever seen. Who would have thunk years later Drake would actually have something in common with the great Michael Jackson?
Back in May, Drake surpassed Elvis for the most simultaneous top 100 charting songs.

Billboard has connected the King of Pop with Toronto's Drake as the two are now the only two male artists in Billboard history to concurrently have the No. 1 song and album for seven consecutive weeks. For nine weeks straight Drake's Views has been No. 1, while "One Dance" has led the Hot 100 for eight nonconsecutive weeks (it was once dethroned by Justin Timberlake), and now seven straight.

Michael Jackson was the last musical star to dominate in such a manner when he had the No. 1 album and song for seven weeks in 1983 with Thriller and "Billie Jean." Not since Whitney Houston conquered the charts for an astounding 12 weeks between 1992 and 1993 has a star hit this stride. (She still holds that record, tied with the Beatles; the Monkees also have seven weeks.) What will happen when Drake drops the "One Dance" video which he states is"coming soon,".
