In the late 1990s, Slip-N-Slide Records represented the Dirty South which was starting to making waves in the hip hop world. It was led by Trick Daddy as the label got a distribution deal with Atlantic Records. Starting in the year of 1997 and went through the mid 2000's strong with acts such as Plies and even Rick Ross.
