Mary J. Blige Talks Kanye Collab

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul has many collaborations she has done over the years, but not with Kanye West. That is no longer the case. Mary J. Blige is working on her next studio album, and the LP will include a collaboration with Kanye West.

“I don’t want to give up the name of the song yet, but the album is mostly complete,” Blige told THR. “But I absolutely got a chance to work with the great Kanye West. And the song is crazy — I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Blige describes the track as starting off with piano keys and leading into a horn sample. Kanye later joins the song with his own verse.

“It’s incredible. He kills it,” said Blige who has yet to name the project. The product will also feature work by Hit-Boy, DJ Camper, B.A.M., and Jazmine Sullivan. It's been two years since her last project "The London Sessions".
