(WWETV) A traditional Muslim Janazah service was held for the legendary Muhammad Ali on June 9th in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Laila Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Rev. Jesse Jackson were among the celebs who showed up -- and about 16,000 tickets were handed out to fans. Pallbearers presented Ali's closed coffin. An interfaith service will be done in his honor on June 10th.

On June 5th, Muhammad Ali's good friend the Reverend Al Sharpton delivered a service in his honor as well. During the sermon, Sharpton addressed the accolades of Muhammad Ali which differentiated him from other athletes and celebrities by telling personal stories of conversations he had with the icon.

Watch the video above which also includes rare throwback footage of Muhammad Ali interviews against going to the Vietnam War and his stripping of the world heavyweight boxing match. A throwback of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s praise of Ali's conviction and a skit with Ali & Michael Jackson are also provided.
