UPDATE: Prince Reportedly Had Drug Overdose Days Before Death

(WWETV News) The untimely passing of iconic singer Prince continues to be updated as TMZ now state that his death was now related to opiate usage.

According to TMZ he was found in an elevator where there were unsuccessful attempts to provide Prince with CPR after being landed in Moline, Illinois after Prince’s Atlanta, Georgia performance, but the reason for the health concern was unknown.

The flu was immediately speculated as the cause of death, TMZ has however obtained photos of Prince leaving a Walgreens pharmacy near his Minnesota home Wednesday around 7pm leading many to speculate that he knew his death was on the horizon. Investigators may uncover that he was given different meds by different docs and some shit got crossed up in his system.

It is said that Prince had begun work on a memoir that was approximately 50 pages long as speculation has been that he had got a terminal illness. Sources close to Prince also confirmed that he had recently canceled several shows in Atlanta due to sickness.

The tributes continue for Prince as Google has changed their logo to Prince’s signature color of purple and the NBA on TNT have dressed up their set in purple to honor Prince. His music was played through the commercial breaks.
