In the video above Ludacris and Ciara announce some of the finalists for the Billboard Award nominations. The two will also be hosting this year's event. They were joined by Ice Cube and Common, who happened to be on the show promoting the new "Barbershop" film.
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards nominations are led by Canadian singers The Weeknd and Justin Bieber, who appear in eleven categories. Drake and Fetty Wap are close behind Abel at ten nominations a piece.
