MTV covered underground hip hop artists in the city of Toronto that Drake has impacted in Mo-G, Robin Banks, Top 5, and Layla Hendryx.
WWETV gives exclusive concert footage of Robin Banks and Layla Hendryx from the MOD Club in Toronto. The bromance between Drake and MO-G came to an end this week when MO-G went on instagram and blasted his manager Oliver for not giving credit to writers helping Drake. After the videos went viral it seems Drake's OVO Camp ended up paying Mo-G $12,000 to stop the attacks on his instagram.
Another Toronto artist Shelby GT went on air with radio host Torain aka Star. Torain made the national stage on MTV’s Beat Suite (1999) but it was his radio show (Star & Buc Wild) on New York's Hot 97 & Power 105 that secured his place in media history. STAR's resume also includes Atlantic Records, WEA, Virgin Records, Round The Globe Music, The Source magazine, Pulse 87, Power 99, Hip-Hop Weekly magazine, Vladtv, Thisis50.com, 100.3 The Beat, VH1 (The Gossip Game), Shot97.com and Stop The Police.
During the show Shelby GT discussed past issues Drake had in the streets of Toronto and Dre Barrs of M3G who penned a song Summer '15 which is a response to Drake's Summer '16. She also touches upon Tory Lanez backing out of beef with Drake when the single Summer '16.
Kanye West is WWETV's website featured 24/7 video stream for the month where you can catch interviews, videos, and live performances on the home page of the site.

Producers In The 6 interview with T Major speaking on what he believes is a well produced album from both America and Canada.
