Unreleased Early Cut of Michael Jackson's Dirty Diana Music Video

Old School Saturday with WWETV. In the video above is an early edit of Michael Jackson's track Dirty Diana. The rough cut and colour correction comes courtesy of SingleWhiteGlove. The video colour correction was done to be more accurate to the final video that was released.

There is a little backstory and folklore to the music video that Michael Jackson got the wind effect from seeing Diana Ross perform in a bad weather condition in a concert in 1983 in Central Park.

You can see the similarities in the gif below which the Diana Ross one is sped up for effect.

Is it a coincidence mere years later Michael Jackson had the same effect in his own music video? We all know Michael Jackson looked up to Diana Ross as a kid during his days at Motown Records.
