(WWETV) Drake has coined his city of Toronto as The 6. One of the biggest corporations out of Canada CBC has created a competition for artists to make the official anthem for the city. Topshot Pictures has teamed up with Top Secret Ops' Ryan Lord aka RP Rap one of Toronto's first emcees back in the early 1980's to have his daughter Little T enter the contest. The winner will receive $10,000, and a CBC-produced music video! The judges for the competition are as followed! Shad: Shad is a critically acclaimed Juno Award-winning rapper, and the host of q on CBC Radio One. He was born in Kenya and relocated to Canada shortly after. Shad holds a B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University and a master's degree from Simon Fraser University. His music has critics incorporating him into the dialogue among the well-regarded emcees in North America. Gill Deacon: Gill Deacon is the host on CBC Radio One's Here and Now. She was born and raised in Toronto, is an award-winning broadcaster and bestselling author. Gill's portfolio includes prominent roles at CBC including host of CBCTV's Code Green, weekly arts correspondent for CBC News Morning, and host of CBC's flagship daytime show, The Gill Deacon Show. Tom Power: Tom Power is an award-winning musician and broadcaster, and the host of CBC Radio 2 Morning. He hails from St. John's Newfoundland, and started his career programming folk music on college radio. When not on the air, he leads his own band The Dardanelles, who have received a number of accolades both provincially and nationally. As the youngest host of a national radio program on CBC since Peter Jennings, Power is a rising star in broadcasting. Sonia Arab: Sonia is the Senior Producer of Music & Performance for CBC Toronto. Errol Nazareth: Errol Nazareth is a music journalist who's been playing with words professionally for over 20 years. He's a regular contributor to CBC Radio's Metro Morning and is the interim host of Big City Small World.
