Future Talks Living in the Hood & Leaving The Trap

Funkmaster Flex interviewed Future and he spoke on his experiences growing up poor in Atlanta, living in his grandma's 3-bedroom house with over a dozen people. He explained his change in mentality that allowed him to avoid falling into familiar pitfalls of his environment.

"I thought broader, I though outside my horizons," he told Flex. "You gotta think outside the box. When you trapped in the trap, you really mentally trapped in the trap.

"I fight statistics. I expect the unexpected, that's how I live my life."
