(WWETV) Drake's "Obey Your Thirst" small documentary clip has caused a stir online with fans and industry people alike in terms of his comments about being able to make it in the hip hop industry without having the need to cross the border.

Whether that is true or not compared to back in the day is still up to debate, but Spotify has taken upon itself to pick two Canadian artists in the hip hop genre to look out for. They’re being dubbed Spotify Canada’s first-ever “Spotlight” artists.
