Two local rappers are in critical condition after being shot in the Parkland neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky on Monday. Jassiem “Father Jah” Anderson and Donald “Wreck D. Mic” Mattingly have been identified as the victims.
Father Jah has been an active part of the Louisville music scene for years, and he picked up the nickname “The Godfather of Kentucky Hip Hop.” Jah has released the albums Manuscripture of the Father, Mr. Myagi Meets Bigfoot Mackzilla, and Philosophies of a Modern Day Mastermind.
Police are investigating the shooting. Authorities are said to be looking for a third individual suspected to be the shooter.
