(WWETV) Sticky Green's father is a poet in the city of Toronto who has published several books. He is known for selling his poetry in the west end of the city. His poems have been archived in the National Library of Poetry in Canada. He has also been interviewed by media in Toronto and in his native land of Trinidad & Tobago.

He is a former original calypsonian who helped to start the Caribana festival which is one of North America's biggest street events during the summer. During his days singing in Calypso King show competitions he achieved a Juno nomination for his single "African Chant" which would later be picked up by a major label for Calypso music in Brooklyn called Charlie's Records. In the forthcoming "Now or Never" Documentary you will see Sticky Green's father describe his rich history in Toronto urban music and in the field of poetry.
In the wake of recent events the man also known as "The Poetic Wizard" has penned a poem about the killings of innocent black men at the hands of the police.

POLICE DISCRIMINATION
To sit and meditate to discriminate
is a shameful act of illiteracy
and dumb ignorance
in this modern community
Years Go Years Come
We are shattered down
by the policeman's gun
trampled upon like
a wild beast of burden
for no apparent reason
Their Shame, Their Hate
Has No Regrets
They pull the trigger with happiness
Oh why Oh why policemen
your job is to protect and serve
yet you turn around and shoot the black man down
then create lies to cover your eyes
The streets are fools you say
they never do things the right way
but still we worry you each day
by driving beautiful cars on the highway
Now turn around and face the storm
be a man and say you are wrong
Say it's the natural pigmentation of the blacks
that have the officers fighting facts
Racial Discrimination still struggles on
the police officers may never understand
