Tupac Shakur Actor Revealed for Biopic

(WWETV) The actor who will be playing Tupac Shakur has been revealed and his name is Marcc Rose. He is a newcomer in the movie industry and perhaps will make a name for himself portraying the legendary Tupac Shakur.

There is dissension in the ranks for the movie as John Singleton has been replaced as the director. Rose was chosen by John Singleton and it would seem since Singleton personally knew Tupac he made the right choice. By the looks of it, Rose does look like Tupac.

He has been replaced by Carl Franklin. Boyz N The Hood, Poetic Justice, Baby Boy, Higher Learning and Four Brothers are all films that have been directed by John Singleton and it would appear he is more than capable of handling the project.

John Singleton speaks out about being replaced as the producer of the Tupac Shakur movie, via his Instagram page, saying the following: "Real talk! The reason I am not making this picture is because the people involved aren't really respectful of the legacy of Tupac Amaru Shakur. I won't say much if you want you can read my articles in Hollywood Reporter on authenticity in Black Storytelling ... To Pac's real fans just know I am still planning a movie on Tupac ... It doesn't matter what they do mines will be better... Tupac was much more than a hip hop artist ... He was a black man guided by his passions ... Of most importance was his love of black people and culture ... Something the people involved in this movie know nothing about... Real talk!

You can hear an interview from March of this year with LT Hutton talking about the directing issues he has with the Tupac Shakur biopic. The producer explained that he wants to make a classic film about the legendary rapper's life, and LT added that he will take as much time as needed to get the film where it needs to be.
