QUEEN LATIFAH TO STAR IN "BESSIE" HBO MOVIE

The film ‘Bessie’ has been in the works for over 20 years and the creators of the film going back to the 90's tried to land Queen Latifah in the role. It seems their persistency has prevailed as she will be in the HBO produced movie.

By the look of the trailer, there was no one else who could have portrayed the complicated Blues singer like Queen Latifah. We can’t wait to see Latifah shine in this new role.
