A petition to deport the Canadian singer has collected over 100,000 signatures in under a week's time.
Less than a week after Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach, more than 100,000 people have signed a White House petition to have the Canadian singer deported.
Bieber has arrived in Toronto according to CBC News:
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has walked into a Toronto police station, where police sources say he will face a charge in connection with an alleged assault involving a limousine driver in late December.
Toronto police say they were called to the area of Dundas Street West and University Avenue on the evening of Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013.
Bieber, 19, attended a Toronto Maple Leafs game that evening at the Air Canada Centre.
At the time, police told The Canadian Press they were investigating an assault allegation but said it was unclear whether it was Bieber or a member of his entourage who was the subject of a complaint.
Police sources told CBC News Bieber would arrive in Toronto today and be officially charged at the 52 Division police station with a notice to appear at a later date.
In a tweet, Toronto police said they could not confirm the information. The charge is the latest legal scrape for the heartthrob who was born in London, Ont., and raised in nearby Stratford.
Last week Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach and charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and driving with an expired licence after police said he had been stopped while drag racing down a street before dawn.
Bieber was accused of racing a rented, yellow Lamborghini alongside a red Ferrari driven by a friend identified as rhythm and blues singer Khalil.
Police said Bieber admitted to smoking marijuana, drinking and taking a prescription medication.
He was released on $2,500 bail.
Bieber's blood-alcohol level in the Miami incident wasn't released. Under Florida law, people under the age of 21 are considered driving under the influence if they have a blood-alcohol content of 0.02 or more — a level the 5-foot-9, 140-pound star could reach with one drink.
Court records show Bieber's attorney filed a written not guilty plea on Wednesday. Bieber already has an arraignment set for Feb. 14, but Florida law doesn't require the pop star to be present.
