Pain Outro: Teddy Bruckshotk Look out for Sticky Green's new album coming out in 2014. One half of the founding member of the underground legendary street rap group from Toronto's Jane-Finch corridor will be releasing new music on his debut album. Sticky Green is proud to present Timeless Muzik Entertainment. An independent music label that will provide listeners with timeless music in the vein of urban music's pioneers. The forefathers of urban music such as the Motown Sound with the edge of Sticky Green's pioneering street reality rap that he helped to put on the map in Canada in the late 90's and changed in the mid 00's. Timeless Muzik Entertainment follows the soul stirring emotional music that all-time greats over the last century such as Michael Jackson, The Jacksons, Temptations, New Edition, Sam Cooke, James Brown, and too many to count offered to listeners for generations to come. For the uninitiated Sticky Green is one half of the founding members of The Smugglaz rap group that brought the Canadian rap scene classic street music such as "Street Rappers"(documented by CBC National News Prime Time program and aired across Canada on MuchMusic Television), "45th Dumpin"(one of the first ever diss tracks against mainstream Canadian artists during the mid 00's), and "Jane & Finchin"(which ended up on Paramount Vantage/MTV Films movie How She Move). In the late 1980's the rap/hip hop craze went to new heights as a fuse started between the old and new generation where the 90's created a new breed of music that included the likes of Jodeci, Mary J. Blige(Queen of Hip Hop Soul), Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, and more connected with the kids and youth which Sticky Green was influenced on an aesthetic level. The music of his parents (Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Al Green, and others in the 60's, 70's, and 80's explosion of black music) however also played a part in giving Sticky Green his own style of edgy emotional music that was initially heard through his rap group The Smugglaz as a teenager street rap phenom in the late 90's.
