Anjulie was born and raised in Oakville, Ontario and is the daughter of Guyanese and Idian parents. In 2013 she won a Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year for "You and I".
The Canadian artist recently took to twitter and made sarcastic claims of Beyonce using her video Behind The Music as inspiration for SuperPower.
The artist has effectively taken down the tweet at her Twitter official page.
