KANYE WEST ACCUSED OF ANTI-SEMITISM BY GROUPS

Kanye West was recently on the Breakfast Club radio show and made some remarks about President Obama not being able to make certain changes because he doesn't have connections like some Jewish people. Well, this has raised the eyebrows of some in the Jewish media.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL)’s National Director Abaraham H. Foxman issued a statement describing Kanye’s comments as “classic anti-Semitism”:

There it goes again, the age-old canard that Jews are all-powerful and control the levers of power in government. As a celebrity with a wide following, Kanye West should know better. We hope that he will take responsibility for his words, understand why they are so offensive, and apologize to those he has offended.

The Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz was one of the first publications to make light of Kanye’s potentially anti-semitic comment in their issue last Friday (November 29th)
